Duties and Responsibilities of the post of
Professor in Pediatrics – Advt. No.263-2012
i) To be head of the Department and in complete charge of a clinical unit and to be responsible for proper care of patients including emergency duties.
ii) To organise both under-graudate and post-graudate teaching in his subject and to give bed side clinics.
iii) To plan, organise and conduct and guide research in his subject.
iv) To be incharge and responsible for the proper maintenance of all the dead stock machine of the department and departmental library.
v) To be responsible for proper maintenance of case records and filing system in the department.
vi)To exercise general supervision and maintain discipline among the teaching and non-teaching staff.
vii)To conduct and to do any other duties that may be allotted to him by the Head of the College and Hospital.
viii) To do any other duties that may be allotted to him by the Head of the College and Hospital.
