Name of the Post - Junior Technical Officer, Gr-B
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES :
(1) He will have to work as the head of a section.
(2) He will have to carry out the general Supervision over the Section under his control and will be responsible for the entire work in the Section under his control including supervision over the work of his subordinetes.
(3) He will have to provide guidance to his subordinates.
(4) He will be responsible for issue of policy documents and settlement of Insurance claims as per powers delegated to him.
(5) He will have to scrutinise and put up underwriting and claim cases to the higher authourities where such cases are not within the powers delegated to him.
(6) He is to assist his higher Officers in furnishing the statutory returns required under the Insurance Act or any other Acts.
(7) He is to maintain necessary statistical data as may be directed by his higher officers. He is responsible for maintenance of policy and claim papers and other documents.
(8) He will be responsible for the reconciliation of accounts for the Sections under his control.
(9) He will to carry out any other special assignment entrusted to him by his higher officers.
(10) He will have to supervise the work of compiation of accounts of General Insurance Fund and Life Insurance Fund.
