DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES :
1) To be overall in- charge of the functioning of the sections placed under the Deputy Director both technically and administratively.
2) To be responsible for the entire work of the section up to the last stage of publication of the final reports etc.
3) To Co-ordinate the functions done by Directorate’s District Statistical Officer for supplying data to Head Office particularly with reference to the following :-
a) Preparation of Plan Review
b) Preparation of Socio- economic Reviews, and District Statistical Abstracts.
c) Statistical Work connected with Planning
d) Statistical Work relating to Community Development.
e) Statistical work relating to evaluation.
f) Improvement of quality & timeliness of the basic Statistical following from the District level
g) Work relating to Surveys.
h) Any other work entrusted by the Director
