DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

1. To work as District Head / Head of Office and perform the duties of Drawing & Disbursing
Officer.
2. To visit the Govt. Institutions and NGOs working in the field of women & Child Development at
District Level, to guide them and make proper arrangements for smoothening the routine working.
3. To guide the NGOs working in the field women & Child Development and to make them aware
for effective implementation all the institutional and Non constitutional schemes
4. To plan for the schemes which are being implemented at District officers and at the institutional
level working in the concerned districts, prepare budget and get budgetary provision for the same.
5. Distribution of grants to the individuals and institutions.
6. To remain present for the Meetings of D.P.D.C. as a representative of the Head office and submit
the information regarding schemes under plan and budget provision which are being implemented
in the district.
7. To ask the D.P.D.C. to make the budget provision available in accordance with the local needs.
8. To scrutinize the proposal regarding implementation of new schemes and submit the same to the
Head office for sanction.
9. To inspect the Self assessment Report of the grants of all the institutions in the District.
10. To help Mahila bal Kalyan Samitee in implementing the various schemes of Mahila Mandal.
11. To Keep control over all the Govt. and Non Govt. Institutions in the District and do the work in
connection with Establishment and account matters of the employees working in the Institutions.
12. To guide and keep control over the employees working in the institutions and office.
13. To shoulder the responsibility of all the financial and accounts matters of the District Office and
Institution.
14. To see that all registers in the office and institution are being maintained up to date.
15. To submit the report as per guide lines issued by head office from time to time and also as per
provisions laid down under the Rules.
16. To distribute the grants as per Rules and submit Monthly expenditure Statement to head office.
To do the needful for the beneficiaries as per Rules of the institutions working in the field of women & Child Development
