Duties and Responsibilities of the post of
Professor in Dentistry
Add No - 288
1) To organize and undertake General supervision of the Department
2) To deliver lectures to post graduate and under-graduate students.
3) To give clinics to post - graduate and under-graduate students.
4) To supervise the work of students in the Hospital.
5) To allocate teaching assignment to the junior staff.
6) To supervise the teaching work in the department.
7) To arrange and take part in the Seminar.
8) To supervise the hospital works in the department.
9) To advise and direct the research being carried out by technicians of the department.
10) To undertake general Supervision of teaching students work by the Technicians of the department.
11) To direct and arrange for the Supervision of students works in the laboratory.
12) To arrange for taking and Developing ceplomatic x-rays and reading of x-ray and Charting out the line of the treatment.
13) To examine all the new cases in consultative capacity and advise in outline the treatment and,
14) To do any work entrusted to him/her by the Dean in the College and Hospital side.
