Professor – Radiotherephy in Government Medical College, MME&RS, Gr-A.
1) Supervision and control over the entire Therapy complex.
2) Instruct and give guidance to the technologist in respect of positioning beam direction
and selection of therapy factors etc. He should take help of technologist in immobilising
the patients while centering the beam.
3) Any information available from the patient should be kept strictly confidential.
4) The records include following data given by the Radiotherapist :- Teaching or Dosage :-
(a) Data (b) Beam energy in Kv. Mv. or Mev (c) Millianporage (MA) (d) Half Value layer
(e) Target or source skin distance (f) Area of treatment field in on 2 Depth tumour (g)
Vacation of treatment field (h) Dose rate in air (i) Skin dose (j) Tumour dose to date (k)
filter.
5) All staff including Physicist, technologist and other para-medical staff should be under
his control.
6) Strict rediation monitoring facilities to be made available to staff regularly.
7) Surveillance for radiation leakage from B.A.R.C. Department.
