Professor - Orthopaedics in Government Medical College, MME&RS, Gr-A.
i) To be head of Department who will be responsible to Dean and Government in all
respect.
ii) Full administration of the Department regarding -
(a) Posting of Associate Professors, Lecturers, Registrars, House Officers, Trainees
and post-graduate in Orthopaedics in various operation theaters for administration of
Orthopaedics.
(b) Making in emergency duty list from time to time.
(c) Distribution of teaching work to the under - graduate and other trainees.
iii) He should handle all official and non official correspondence and their replies.
iv) Attend all the official meetings like College Council, University Faculty and Board of
Studies and other Departmental meetings, if invited.
v) Should attend death conference.
vi) Teaching and training of Post graduate in Orthopaedics. Organise seminar and other
activities in the Department.
vii) Identing the requirements of the Department like equipments, their maintenance,
drugs and library, reference books and periodicals.
viii) Research work.
ix) Encourage and guide other staff concerned in their research work and help them in
presenting their work in Annual conference.
x) To take proper care and treatment of patients.
